Challenging myself: To keep up with a ‘contract’ is very hard for me (I give up stuff easily) (Don’t judge me heu heu heu) so I’m gonna challenge myself to go with the 7 x 7 contract (7 days, 7 weeks)
Chip in!: I find this kind of stuff really interesting, and it makes our lives better. You can chip in if you like, with me here supposing that you find this stuff interesting too.
How it works: It’s a 7 days, 7 weeks schedule. Of course it has to be somewhat ‘organized’. So here’s how it goes:
- Day 1 – The first day of the week; do your weekly planning. Find a quiet place where you can focus and spend 20 – 30 minutes to: Connect with your mission, roles and goals. Schedule the big rocks: Ask the big rocks question – What are the most important things I can do this week? Organize the rest, schedule your other tasks and activities around your big rocks.
- Day 2 to 6 – Specific Activities from each of the 7 Habits that will help you build relationships, achieve goals, complete you Personal Mission statement, and more.
- Day 7 – The last day of the week. Use this day as a make – up day. Do any activity you’ve missed during the week, or just take the day off.
